You knit me together in my mother's womb

children creation

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

-Psalm 139:13-14

Scripture reveals to us that all things were created by, through, and for Jesus. His creation testifies to His powerful hand at work. As we observe the intentional way He crafted the human body to operate, we find the intricate details fascinating. Nothing about the human body is an accident. Every detail of how it appears and operates is by God's design.

This is valuable to think about in light of the false messages we are often tempted to believe. At times, it can be tempting to question our value, to question our worth, and to question whether or not God cares about us in a specific way.

Then we look at a portion of Scripture like this that reminds us that God personally knit us together in our mother's womb. We weren't created haphazardly. We didn't come into being by accident. God's fingerprints are all over our lives.

His work is wonderful. Do you believe that? When you look at yourself today, is that a message you'll repeat to your heart?
